CISPR 22 is analog standard to European standard (EN 55022 ). This is the standard that is very often referenced in all European EMC standards, defining measurement methods, measurement equipment, limit lines and interpretation of applicability of limit lines, starting from household appliances to medical devices. It defines information technology equipment as any equipment or device that operates with a rated supply voltage not exceeding 600V, has a main function of entry, storage, display, retrieval, transmission, processing, switching, or control of data and equipment that could be used in combination with one or more terminal ports with the main function– information transfer. Equipment or device, with a main function of radio transmission or reception are not covered by standard EN 55022.
